Applying Kramer's Theory

1) Considers music not as autonomous but as relevant to cultural, social, and political contexts
- The lyrics explore all of the above mentioned contexts and explore current terrorism issues.
Overseas, yeah, we tryin' to stop terrorism
But we still got terrorists here livin'
In the U.S.A., the big C.I.A.
The Bloods and the Crips and the KKK

2) Shows disdain for the often unquestioned value of structural unity
- The song suggests that we take for granted a world with structural unity and we appreciate it only when it is disrupted.
